What We’re Looking For: Building Automation Floorplan Graphic Designer
Are you a technically skilled individual with an eye for detail and a strong proficiency in graphic design? We are looking for a Building Automation Floorplan Graphic Designer to join our team. In this role, you will focus on creating accurate and functional floorplan graphics for our building automation systems, leveraging your graphic design expertise to produce high-quality, precise layouts.
Stepping into the Role: Core Responsibilities for Success
- Develop clear, accurate, and technically precise floorplan graphics for building automation interfaces.
- Create layouts for Building Automation System (BAS) dashboards that accurately represent building layouts and system functionalities.
- Modify and update existing floorplan graphics based on feedback, system updates, and evolving project needs.
- Collaborate closely with HVAC control engineers to convert technical specifications into detailed and precise graphical representations of floorplans.
- Utilize design software (Adobe Creative Suite) and other relevant tools to create scalable vector graphics (SVG) and layouts that support building automation systems.
- Stay up to date on industry standards, best practices, and emerging technologies related to building automation and technical graphic design.
- Other duties assigned.

- Excellent organizational and communication skills to ensure projects run smoothly.
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience in graphic design, preferably in the building automation or technology sectors.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite with extensive experience using Adobe Illustrator.
- Understanding of user experience (UX) principles and best practices for interface design.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to produce high-quality, visually appealing floorplan graphics.
- Effective communication skills to convey design concepts and collaborate with technical teams.
- Previous experience with Automated Logic WebCTRL graphics is highly desirable.
