What We’re Looking For: Talent Recruitment Specialist

As a Technical Talent Recruitment Specialist, you will play a crucial role in attracting and onboarding top talent in HVAC Control Technicians, DDC Engineers, Building Automation Project Managers, and Sales professionals. Your focus will be on talent acquisition, effective onboarding, performance management, and fostering strong relationships within our offices.
Stepping into the Role: Core Responsibilities for Success
- Manage the Recruitment Process: Oversee the entire recruitment lifecycle, from sourcing and screening candidates to conducting initial interviews and facilitating the transition of qualified candidates to final management interviews.
- Build Candidate Relationships: Develop and maintain strong relationships with potential candidates, ensuring a positive experience throughout the recruitment journey.
- Collaborate with Managers: Work closely with hiring managers to understand their specific staffing needs and develop targeted recruitment strategies for technical roles.
- Leverage Recruitment Channels: Utilize a variety of recruitment platforms, including social media, job boards, and job fairs or hiring events to attract a diverse pool of qualified technical candidates.
- Talent Pipeline Development: Build and maintain a robust talent pipeline for future hiring needs in the HVAC and building automation sectors.
- Onboarding Excellence: Conduct new employee orientations and facilitate comprehensive onboarding processes tailored to technical roles.
- Analyze Exit Interviews: Assist in conducting exit interviews and analyze feedback to identify trends and areas for improvement within the recruitment process.
- Additional Duties: Perform other related tasks as assigned.
What Makes You Stand Out: Qualifications Needed to Apply
- Bachelor’s degree in human resource/related field, HR certification or equivalent experience.
- 3-5 years of experience in talent acquisition, specifically in technical recruitment and employee relations.
- Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships with candidates and employees.
- Experience using applicant tracking systems and other HR recruitment software.
- Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with professionalism and integrity.
