As a Technical Talent Recruitment Specialist, you will play a crucial role in attracting and onboarding top talent in HVAC Control Technicians, DDC Engineers, Building Automation Project Managers, and Energy Solutions Account Managers, and other highly skilled technical professionals. You will be instrumental in driving our talent acquisition strategy, ensuring that we have the right people to support our growing company.
Stepping into the Role: Core Responsibilities for Success
- Lead the full recruitment lifecycle for technical roles, from sourcing, screening, and interviewing candidates to facilitating seamless transitions to final management interviews.
- Cultivate strong, long-term relationships with candidates, providing them with an excellent experience throughout the recruitment process. Your ability to engage with highly skilled technical professionals will be key to your success.
- Partner with hiring managers to understand the specific needs of each technical role, whether it’s an HVAC Controls Technician, DDC Engineer, or Project Manager, and develop tailored recruitment strategies for each position.
- Use a variety of sourcing channels including specialized job boards, professional networks, social media, and industry events to target and attract top-tier talent in the HVAC, DDC, and building automation sectors.
- Proactively build and maintain a talent pool of qualified candidates, preparing for future hiring needs and ensuring a steady flow of candidates for critical technical positions.
- Lead onboarding efforts by ensuring a smooth transition for new hires, with a particular focus on the technical nuances of roles like HVAC technicians and engineers.
- Analyze recruitment metrics and feedback from exit interviews to continuously improve the recruitment process and better align with the evolving needs of the business.
- Perform other related tasks as assigned.
What Makes You Stand Out: Qualifications Needed to Apply
- Bachelor’s degree in human resource/related field, HR certification or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience recruiting for specialized technical roles, particularly in the HVAC, building automation, DDC, and energy solutions sectors.
- A proven track record of attracting skilled candidates like HVAC Controls Technicians, DDC Engineers, and other technical professionals.
- A solid understanding of the skills, qualifications, and technical knowledge required for positions in HVAC, building automation, and energy management.
- Experience using applicant tracking systems (ATS) and other recruitment tools to streamline the hiring process and track candidate pipelines.
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to engage technical professionals, present job opportunities clearly, and provide an outstanding candidate experience.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with professionalism and integrity.
